If you’ve been craving a bold cup of coffee served with a side of southern hospitality, your wait is over. Frontier Rodeo Coffee & Bakery has officially opened its doors in Lumberton, bringing with it the rich aroma of artisan coffee, mouthwatering baked goods, breakfast and affordable grab and go lunch items. All served with the unmistakable spirit of the West.
Located at 133 N LHS Drive in a high visibility leased space secured by Coldwell Banker Commercial Arnold and Associates, this new spot is already making a name for itself with locals who appreciate quality, flavor, and heart. Grab your boots, a friend and your appetite and go experience “The Spirit of the West in Every Cup.” They offer a convenient drive through or make time to enjoy a positive experience inside at this highly desirable internet access café.
Founded five years ago by Jerry and Beverly Nelson along with their daughter Kandice Adkins, Frontier Rodeo Coffee began as an online coffee brand. With catchy slogans like “Put More Buck in Your Cup” and “The Spirit of the West in Every Cup,” the coffee and merchandise quickly gained a loyal following. But it’s more than just clever branding, a portion of every online sale supports the Justin Cowboy Crisis Fund, which helps professional injured rodeo athletes get back on their feet.
After the success of their first storefront in Columbus, TX, the team is excited to bring their second location to Lumberton, with plans to continue expanding throughout Texas and Oklahoma.
This group is fueled by passion and caffeine! At the helm of the organization is Allie Thomas, former teacher and coach turned general manager. She helped turn the family’s vision into a full-fledged café experience. From curating the menu to designing the inviting ranch-inspired interior, Allie’s personal touch is evident in every detail. The atmosphere reflects the energy of the staff and their dedication to customer service. The deliciousness of the menu items speaks for itself.
Frontier Rodeo Café and Bakery serves up a wide range of beverages, from expertly roasted arabica coffee blends to iced refreshers, hot teas, blended drinks, and bottled options. Fuel your morning with bagels, biscuits, or avocado toast. Midday visitors can grab fresh-made sandwiches and salads, perfect for those on the go.
The Frontier Rodeo Bakery is located just north of Lumberton in Kountze. It is the family’s privately owned bakery and supplies the shop daily with sweet and savory treats. From oversized cinnamon rolls to gourmet cupcakes, cake pops, cheesecakes, and more, the baked goods alone are worth the visit. Pick up a box of K-Cups or a 12 oz bag of Frontier Rodeo’s signature blends to enjoy your favorite brew at home.
The Frontier Rodeo team credits Sales Agent Tammiey Linscomb of Coldwell Banker Commercial Arnold and Associates for making the leasing and build-out process smooth and stress-free. “She was informative, professional, and always ready to help us find creative solutions,” said Thomas.
